ABOUT DR. OWEN

Dr. Owen is a family dentist practicing at Tidewater Family Dentistry in Newport News, VA with an emphasis in preventative care, restorative dentistry and removable dentistry. A native of Richmond, VA, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University, Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans.

Dr. Owen developed an early respect for primary care through the example of his father who was a family physician and enjoys working with patients of all ages at Tidewater Family Dentistry. He is known to treat patients as he would treat members of his own family and enjoys developing long-term relationships with individuals and families over time.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Dr. Owen enjoys spending time with his wife, Meredith, his son, Tommy, and their yellow lab, Woody. When not in the office, he can be found saltwater fishing, waterfowl hunting, boating, playing tennis and racquetball, coaching youth sports, or rooting for his favorite ACC and professional teams!
