At Tidewater Family Dentistry, we understand that cleanliness and sanitation are on everyone’s minds. Our top priority is to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of each patient and team member who walks through our doors. We’ve always adhered to the sanitation and infection prevention standards set forth by OSHA, the ADA, and the CDC. COVID-19 POLICIES – WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT:
EASY
RE-SCHEDULING
We have asked all patients to cancel their appointment if they are COVID positive, displaying symptoms of COVID, or have been exposed to COVID in the last 14 days.
TEMPERATURE CHECKS
When arriving at the office, please come in to use the machine to take your temperature, hand sanitize, and check in with the front desk.
PRE-SCREENING
All patients will fill out a COVID questionnaire upon check-in.
SAFE WAITING ROOM
Our waiting room has been rearranged to provide socially distant seating.
WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP PATIENTS SAFE:
VACCINATED STAFF
We have begun the process of vaccinating our employees for COVID-19.
CLEAN AIR
UltraHEPA air purifiers have been installed in all treatment rooms.
SANITIZED SPACE
We sanitize all common areas every hour.
NO CROSS CONTAMINATION
Clinic jackets or surgical gowns are changed after every patient.
PROTECTING PATIENTS
Hand sanitizer is provided and readily available to all patients.
TEMPERATURE CHECKS
We require temperature checks on all patients and staff.
IN-OFFICE HEALTH CHECKS
Staff is screened twice per day for fever and onset of potential COVID symptoms.
SOCIAL DISTANCED
We require all patients to remain six feet apart as they move around the dental office.
REDUCED EXPOSURE
Plexiglass barriers have been installed at all check-in counters.
